This necklace is handmade in California.
In Hawaiian, Hamoa means "Abundance".
When I learned this, I knew I had to name this piece after the Hamoa beach in Maui.
I am all about creating and generating abundance in my life, and this piece is special as it was the first I created in this new collection.
The 3 swirly pieces towards the bottom are created by taking strings of glass and melting them over fiber paper to create waves in the glass.
Notice how the strings create a shadow through the pendant as the light hits the glass. Lovely!
Then I cut the strings and place them over the blue glass (from my Tahiti collection) and over white glass and melt in my kiln for 14 hours.
This pendant is bezel set, made to fit perfectly into the metal casing.
A hammered metal connector is linked into the chain in the metal you choose. This bar is handmade by another female artist.
Choose between sterling silver and gold filled chain. 32 or 34 inches long. Model is wearing 32 inches.
